Meet Elinor:

Elinor Balensuela joined Edge Hill University’s North American team in August 2016. Elinor’s focus is on student recruitment and partner relationships; she attends study abroad fairs across North America, visiting partners for pre-departure meetings and faculty-led development and implementation. Her duties also include social sedia development and administrative duties.

As a graduate from Indiana State University, she spent a semester abroad at Edge Hill in 2013, where she fell in love with England and with International Education. Upon returning to the US, Elinor joined Indiana State’s Study Abroad Office as a Student Assistant and spearheaded the recruitment of students for Edge Hill. She was also responsible for day-to-day operations of the office as well as launching the office’s social media presence, which continues to this day.

Elinor graduated from Indiana State in May 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English, with Minors in Creative Writing, Communications: Public Relations, and International Studies. In her spare time, Elinor writes everything from short stories to novels, composes reviews for her hometown symphony orchestra for the Tribune-Star, reads approximately 52 books a year, plays D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) in a local comic book shop, and drinks entirely too much coffee. She currently resides in Evansville, Indiana with her fiancé and their obsessively large library of movies and books.
